The Play ransomware gang has begun to leak information from the Metropolis of Oakland, California, that was stolen in a current cyberattack.
The preliminary information leak consists of a 10GB multi-part RAR archive allegedly containing confidential paperwork, worker info, passports, and IDs.
“Personal and private confidential information, monetary info. IDs, passports, worker full data, human rights violation info. For now partially printed compressed 10gb,” acknowledged the cybercriminals on their information leak website.

In an up to date assertion posted yesterday, the Metropolis stays that they’re monitoring the state of affairs and can notify any people whose private info was uncovered.
